How to use our search engine
Our search engine searches all fields within all
the records. You can search for Company name, city, address, phone,
email, web address or description. It onlywill find exact matches
within one field.
Best ways to search
Here are couple of examples. If you want to get listing
of all muffler shops in your area, do search under "muffler"
, from the displayed results sort it by city (press city(*) at the
top of the page). Pages will stay sorted by city in alphabetical order.
Using page numbers (bottom) go to page that contains your city. (do
not use quotes)
One word or partial word only work the best
Use single words as much as possible. Example: Looking
for "Auto Glass" type in "Glass" in search box
(do not use quotes). Displayed data will be sorted by company. You
can sort it by phone, city or company.
Avoid using multiple words
As mentioned above, use single words only
Avoid using abbreviations
When searching for "Main Ave." avoid using
abbreviations, better yet, use "Maine" and that will display
any records containing word "Main" (do not use quotes)
Double check spelling
Not sure how to spell it? Use partial word. Example:
Transmition or Transmission?
Simply type in "Transm" (do not use quotes)
Upper case or lower case?
It doesn't matter. Both "Transmission" and
"transmission" will work fine when searching
(do not use quotes)
